This Privacy Policy applies to the Doppel mobile application (com.zeisoft.celebtwin) on iOS and Android, published by Zeisoft Yazilim Limited Sirketi (“Zeisoft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Doppel is an entertainment app. You choose a photo of a face and the app compares a numerical face vector against a catalog of public-figure images to show lookalike matches and a similarity score. Results are estimates for entertainment. Doppel is not affiliated with any celebrity.
We do not require you to create an account. You can use Doppel without a name, email, or password.
Information we process
On your device
The app stores local data needed to work: settings, onboarding state, result or color history, subscription cache, and similar technical state. This data stays on the device unless you back the device up with Apple or Google.
Photos, videos, and face analysis
Photos and videos you select in Doppel stay on your device. The original file is never uploaded to our servers.
To provide the result, the app derives a numerical face vector on your device (a set of numbers that describes facial features, not a photograph). Only this face vector is sent off the device, and only for that analysis. The vector is permanently deleted within one minute after processing. We do not use it to train models, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to identify you outside the app.
Technical and commercial data
To operate subscriptions, measure stability, and attribute installs, we and our processors may receive:
- Device type, OS version, app version, language, and country
- Crash logs and performance events
- Anonymous or pseudonymous app events (screens, paywall views, purchases)
- A subscription profile identifier from Adapty and purchase receipts from Apple or Google
- Attribution data from AppsFlyer (and, if you allow tracking, an advertising identifier)
- A push token if you allow notifications
We do not ask for your name, email, or payment card. Payments go through Apple or Google.
Generated results
Match names, scores, and a local copy of your result stay on your device in history. We do not keep your original photo on our servers. The face vector used for matching is deleted within one minute.
Do not choose a photo of another person unless you have their permission.
Third-party services
We use the following providers to run the app. They process only what they need for their role. They do not receive your selected photos or videos.
- Apple and Google (App Store, Google Play, in-app purchases, and subscription status)
- Adapty — subscription status and paywalls
- Firebase (Google) — analytics, crash reports, and, if you allow notifications, push delivery
- AppsFlyer — install and campaign attribution
These providers may collect device and usage data such as device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, approximate country, and advertising or attribution identifiers if you allow tracking (for example Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS). Their own privacy policies apply to their processing.
How we use information

- To meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos, videos, or face vectors for advertising.
Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall Doppel.
Face vectors sent for analysis are permanently deleted within one minute after processing.
Analytics, crash, attribution, and subscription records are kept by us or our processors only as long as needed for those purposes or as required by the store and tax rules, then deleted or aggregated.
If you email us, we keep the message long enough to handle your request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, and Turkey), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data we hold, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because Doppel has no account, most data lives on your device and is removed by uninstalling the app.
To ask us to delete anything we may still hold (for example an email you sent, or a support ticket), write to apps@zeisoft.com or use the data deletion page. Describe the app and any detail that helps us find the record. We will respond within 30 days.
You can reset advertising identifiers and revoke tracking, camera, photos, or notification permission in the system settings.
Children
Doppel is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete what we have.
Security and international transfers
We use HTTPS and standard industry safeguards. Processors may store data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms.

Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the bottom of this page is the latest version. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
