Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Doppel mobile application on iOS and Android (“App”), provided by Zeisoft Yazilim Limited Sirketi (“Zeisoft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Doppel is an entertainment app. You choose a photo of a face and the app compares a numerical face vector against a catalog of public-figure images to show lookalike matches and a similarity score. Results are estimates for entertainment. Doppel is not affiliated with any celebrity.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, as allowed by the Apple App Store and, where applicable, Google Play rules. We and our licensors keep all rights in the App. You may not copy, reverse engineer, rent, or resell it except as the law allows.

Subscriptions and purchases

Doppel may offer auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time purchases. Features, lengths, and prices are shown in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by country and offer.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Any free trial or introductory price, if offered, is described in the App and on the store listing. Unused portions of a trial are forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot refund a store purchase ourselves.

Entertainment only

Doppel lookalike results are estimates for entertainment. They are not identification and not an endorsement by any public figure. Doppel is not affiliated with the people shown in the catalog. You must have the right to use the photo you select.

Face analysis

Your original photo stays on your device. Only a numerical face vector is sent off the device to produce the result, and that vector is deleted within one minute. You agree not to use the app to identify strangers, to surveil people, or to build a face database.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we process. It is part of these Terms.

Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zeisoft Yazilim Limited Sirketi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or purchase amounts, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing, except where liability cannot be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or stop the App or your access if you break these Terms or if we discontinue the product. Store subscription cancellation remains as described above.

Changes

We may change the App or these Terms. The date at the bottom of this page is the latest version. If you continue to use the App after a change, you accept the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Izmir, Turkey have jurisdiction, except that you may have mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence that still apply.
